Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi directs coordinated efforts to prevent and remove encroachments on government land in Karachi.

Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi directed all Deputy Commissioners, Town Municipal Administrations, Karachi Municipal Corporation, and the Director of Anti-Encroachment, along with other relevant departments, to make coordinated efforts to prevent encroachments on government land in Karachi and remove existing ones. He instructed them to bring those occupying government land under the ambit of the law and ensure that those involved receive due punishment, according to a statement.

In District Korangi, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Masood Bhutto reported an operation conducted by Assistant Commissioner Shah Faisal Colony, Abdul Sami, who demolished four houses at Badal Goth near Shahrah-e-Bhutto. The operation was carried out with assistance from the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Anti-Encroachment Department and local police.

In District East, Deputy Commissioner Nasrullah Abbasi submitted a report detailing an anti-encroachment operation by Assistant Commissioner Model Colony, Nadeem Ali. With the help of Mukhtiarkar Abdul Rehman from the Town Municipal Administration and police, he removed all encroachments obstructing traffic flow on the National Highway between Malir Halt and Kala Board.

During this operation, various fruit and juice carts were also removed, and violators were warned about future strict action including fines and possible arrests. Commissioner Naqvi emphasized that action would continue against encroachments causing traffic congestion.

The Deputy Commissioners submitted their reports to the Commissioner Karachi on ongoing anti-encroachment operations in their respective districts. This directive aims to maintain public safety and ensure proper use of government land for its intended purposes.
