City Traffic Police in Faisalabad have launched operations against overcharging and violations ahead of Eidul Azha, forming dedicated squads to inspect vehicles and enforce strict rules.

Traffic police in Faisalabad have initiated a comprehensive operation targeting transporters who are charging excessive fares before the upcoming Eidul Azha. The city's traffic department has formed dedicated squads to inspect vehicles across the city, ensuring that passenger vehicles do not engage in overloading. Citizens have been advised to report any complaints on the traffic helpline.

To raise awareness among passengers of their rights and responsibilities, awareness campaigns are being conducted at all major transport terminals. Traffic police officials emphasized that exploitation of passengers will not be tolerated under any circumstances. They also highlighted that dangerous driving, one-wheeling, reckless riding, zigzag driving, and overspeeding will face strict legal action.

In line with the Eid traffic enforcement drive, a comprehensive management plan has been issued to ensure smooth traffic flow across Faisalabad during the holiday period. Traffic staff will be deployed at all Eid congregations, while additional personnel will be stationed at recreational sites and cattle markets to manage increased public movement. Special arrangements have been made to regulate heavy rush at major livestock markets, where dedicated duty squads will monitor traffic flow and prevent congestion.

The department reiterated its commitment to ensuring public safety and urged citizens to strictly follow traffic rules during the Eid holidays. Cooperation with officials is encouraged to avoid violations and ensure smooth and safe travel across the city.
