Kodak Black, real name Bill Kapri, arrested again for resisting an officer and attempting to flee law enforcement in Florida. Attorney claims it's part of ongoing investigations.

Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, has been detained again by Florida police, this time on charges of resisting an officer and attempting to flee law enforcement. The arrest comes just two weeks after he was previously arrested for allegedly trafficking more than 10 grams of MDMA and found with drugs in his vehicle.

Kodak's attorney, Bradford Cohen, the latest arrest is part of ongoing investigations and a pattern of unfounded weak arrests. "This is a self-surrender from yet another 'investigation' that just happened to also take five months to investigate for allegedly fleeing and alluding," Cohen said in a statement to TMZ.

Cohen added, "It's not unexpected as this is usually the procedure we go through where there are unfounded weak arrests followed by another arrest for cases that allegedly take five or six months to investigate."

Kodak's lawyer emphasized, "At this point everyone agrees that Kodak is consistently being targeted." The 28-year-old rapper appeared in court on May 7 and requested a jury trial. He was later released on bond.

Previously, Kodak Black was arrested on May 6 for trafficking more than 10 grams of MDMA. Police found drugs inside one of his vehicles during the search that led to his initial arrest. The Wake Up in the Sky performer has been involved in multiple legal troubles over the past few months, with each case leading to another arrest and court appearance.

This latest detention brings Kodak Black's recent legal history into sharp focus, highlighting ongoing investigations and potential inconsistencies in law enforcement procedures. As the rapper continues to face charges related to drug trafficking, his legal team remains committed to fighting these allegations and seeking justice for their client.
