Bangladesh have strengthened their position against Pakistan at the end of day 4 of the Dhaka Test, with weather interruptions and poor light forcing an early close.
Play on day 4 was disrupted by rain and later curtailed due to fading light, leading to an early stumps with Bangladesh on 153 for 3 in their second innings.
Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto remained unbeaten on 58, while Mushfiqur Rahim was not out on 16, extending their team's lead to 179 runs over Pakistan.
Earlier, Mominul Haque scored 56, Shadman Islam made 10, and Mahmudul Hasan Joy contributed 5 runs before getting out, as Bangladesh built on their first-innings total.
