Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlights growing bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, emphasizing their brotherly bond and mutual cooperation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday underscored that the relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan was maturing into a more robust partnership. Speaking at a meeting with Justice Minister Farid Turab Oglu Ahmadov of Azerbaijan, who visited Islamabad, Prime Minister Sharif expressed his warmest greetings for President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan. The prime minister fondly recalled their recent phone conversation.
During the cordial meeting, Prime Minister Sharif welcomed Mr. Ahmadov and highlighted that the ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan were strengthening with each passing day. He thanked the Azerbaijani minister for his visit and extended warm hospitality to him.
Mr. Ahmadov informed Prime Minister Sharif about ongoing collaboration in legal and judicial cooperation between the two countries. The meeting also discussed efforts to enhance mutual legal assistance mechanisms and capacity building of judicial systems.
Prime Minister Sharif appreciated these collaborative endeavors and expressed hope to meet President Ilham Aliyev soon to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across all sectors.
