The Lahore High Court has issued transfer orders for 266 Additional District and Sessions Judges across Punjab with immediate effect.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday made significant administrative changes by issuing transfer and posting orders for 266 Additional District and Sessions Judges (AD&SJs) throughout Punjab. According to a notification from the Registrar Office, these transfers were approved by the Chief Justice in the public interest. The reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency and ensure smoother court operations across the province.

Under the new orders, Farkhanda Arshad was transferred from Attock to Kasur, while Saadat Hussain Malik was posted from Attock to Pattoki. Umar Rasheed was moved from Fateh Jang to Hafizabad, and Harris Ali relocated from Bahawalnagar to Faisalabad.

The notification emphasized that the changes were implemented immediately to address administrative needs and improve court performance. The transferred judicial officers have been directed to assume their new roles at their respective stations forthwith.

This move reflects an ongoing effort by the LHC to optimize its judicial resources and ensure effective governance in Punjab's legal system.
