Hajj flight operation enters final phase with 114,078 pilgrims (96%) arriving in Saudi Arabia via ‘Route to Makkah’. Ministry of Religious Affairs reports.

The Hajj flight operation to transport Pakistani pilgrims under the Government Scheme to Saudi Arabia has entered its final phase. As of now, 114,078 pilgrims (96 percent) have already arrived in the Holy Land via the ‘Route to Makkah’ initiative and other scheduled flights. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, a total of around 150,000 pilgrims are expected to complete their journey by the end of today.

The remaining flights carrying the final batch of pilgrims are scheduled to arrive in Saudi Arabia tonight. The operation has been meticulously organized with strict adherence to health protocols and safety measures to ensure the smooth passage of millions of Muslims for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

Pilgrims have been greeted at Mina, a vast area near Makkah where they perform various rituals before proceeding to the Grand Mosque in Mecca. The arrival of these pilgrims marks the culmination of months-long preparations and travel across thousands of miles.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has praised the dedicated efforts of all stakeholders involved in organizing this year's Hajj operation, including airlines, ground handlers, religious organizations, and local authorities. They have worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail is taken care of for a safe and successful pilgrimage experience.

As pilgrims continue their journey towards Makkah, they will participate in the significant rituals of Hajj, such as walking between Safa and Marwah seven times, throwing stones at the pillars of Satan, circumambulating the Kaaba seven times, and performing the Tawaf. These acts symbolize the spiritual purification and submission to God.

The completion of this year's Hajj operation is a testament to the resilience and unity of Muslims across Pakistan and around the world. It also underscores the importance of international cooperation in facilitating such massive gatherings for religious purposes while ensuring safety and security.

With the final flights arriving tonight, pilgrims will soon be able to join millions of other Muslims from diverse backgrounds who have come together to fulfill their spiritual duties at one of Islam's holiest sites.
