Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, joined millions of Pakistani pilgrims at the historic plains of Arafat on Tuesday. This significant day marked Wuquf-e-Arafah, the central pillar and holiest day of Hajj 1447 AH, as pilgrims from across the country gathered in Makkah to perform their religious duties.
The atmosphere was filled with prayers and spiritual devotion, with the Talbiyah of “Labbaik” resounding through the vast plains. Sardar Yousaf’s presence among the pilgrims served to strengthen communal bonds and underscore the government's commitment to supporting its citizens on this sacred journey.
As millions of devotees stood together in unity, reciting verses from the Quran and seeking forgiveness, the minister interacted with various groups, offering guidance and support. The Wuquf-e-Arafah is considered one of the most critical rituals during Hajj, as it involves standing before Allah for 10 hours while seeking forgiveness and making personal pledges to improve oneself.
