Sindh University Vice-Chancellor Dr Fateh Mari honored with prestigious national civil award, felicitated by university officers.
Sindh University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Fateh Muhammad Mari was recently conferred the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by President of Pakistan. Officers, teachers, and employees from the institution called separately on his office to congratulate him on this recognition. According to SU spokesperson Nadir Ali Mugheri, a significant number of university officers, faculty members, and staff visited Dr Mari's office to express their felicitations.
On the occasion, visitors presented flower bouquets to Professor Dr Mari and adorned him with traditional Sindhi ajrak and cap as a mark of respect and honor. Speaking at the event, Dr Mari expressed his gratitude towards all the visitors for their heartfelt felicitations and good wishes. He emphasized that the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz was not only an honor for him personally but also a matter of pride for the entire University of Sindh and the people of Sindh.
Dr Mari highlighted that collective efforts, teamwork, and academic excellence were essential for the progress and development of universities. He further this award would inspire young scholars, researchers, and teachers to work hard for the advancement of education and contribute positively to national development.
