Secretary Social Welfare Sharif Hussain and Chief Child Commission Ijaz Khan distribute Eid gifts to children at Zamung Kor Institute and Special Education Complex.

Secretary Social Welfare Sharif Hussain and Chief Child Commission Ijaz Khan, along with other officials, recently organized a distribution of Eid gifts for the students at Zamung Kor Institute and the Special Education Complex. The event took place on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, providing much-needed cheer to the children who attend these institutions.

The beneficiaries included both visually impaired and hearing-impaired students, as well as those with physical disabilities. The officials handed out a variety of items such as clothing, school supplies, toys, and hygiene kits to ensure that every child received something special for the holiday season.

"This is an important initiative by the government to uplift the morale of children who face unique challenges," said Sharif Hussain, Secretary Social Welfare. "We hope these gifts will not only brighten their days but also inspire them to continue pursuing their education and dreams."

Ijaz Khan, Chief Child Commission, added, "It is heartwarming to see how much joy small gestures can bring to children who often face significant barriers in life. We are committed to supporting these students through various programs aimed at improving their quality of life."

The distribution was a collaborative effort involving multiple government departments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The initiative not only highlighted the efforts being made by the authorities but also underscored the importance of inclusivity and accessibility for all children.

Local community members and volunteers played a supportive role in organizing the event, ensuring that every child received their share of gifts. The distribution was conducted in a dignified manner, with each student receiving personalized care and attention from the officials present.

This act of kindness serves as a reminder of the government's dedication to providing support for vulnerable children and fostering an inclusive society where no one is left behind.
