Faisalabad authorities report the deaths of 14 robbers and injuries to 17 suspects over a ten-day period as police step up efforts against criminals.

Faisalabad's law enforcement has reported the killing of 14 alleged robbers and injuring 17 suspects in a series of encounters with police and Crime Control Department (CCD) officials over the past ten days. The intensified operations were directed by newly appointed City Police Officer, Tanveer Hussain Tania, who instructed officers to crack down on robbers, thieves, and drug dealers to address rising street crime.

In one incident, a robbery suspect named Moazzam Ali was being transported for recovery proceedings near Chak 126-GB Sherwana when his four armed accomplices allegedly intercepted the police vehicle. The suspects freed Moazzam Ali before fleeing towards Sherwana. A chase ensued, during which the suspects opened fire near Chak 125-GB. Moazzam Ali was reportedly hit by gunfire from his own accomplices and later died in hospital despite medical attention.

Meanwhile, Madina Town police a suspect identified as Abdul Jabbar was injured during an encounter on Ghausia Road. His accomplices managed to escape the scene unharmed.

The increased vigilance and operations have demonstrated Faisalabad's commitment to reducing criminal activities within the city limits.
