PESCO announces elimination of load-shedding on five more feeders following a successful power theft and line losses operation.

Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has declared that five more of its feeder lines are now free from load-shedding, according to the announcement by Chief Executive Akhtar Hameed Khan. The company reported success in eliminating load-shedding on these feeders as a result of a comprehensive operation aimed at curbing power theft and reducing line losses.

The anti-theft crackdown was part of PESCO's ongoing efforts to improve electricity distribution efficiency and reliability for its customers. According to the CEO, this initiative has not only helped reduce energy waste but also provided more consistent power supply across various regions in Peshawar.

"This is a significant step towards enhancing our service quality," said Akhtar Hameed Khan. "We are committed to continuing these measures to ensure that all of our customers receive uninterrupted electricity."

The successful operation on the five new feeders brings the total number of lines declared load-shedding free under PESCO's improved power distribution system to ten, demonstrating the company's progress in addressing critical issues related to energy theft and inefficiency.

"This is a positive development for both residents and businesses alike," commented local community leaders. "The reduction in load-shedding will certainly boost economic activities and improve overall quality of life."

PESCO’s efforts are expected to set a precedent for future initiatives aimed at improving the nation's power infrastructure, with similar operations planned across other regions as well.

With this latest announcement, PESCO continues its mission to provide reliable electricity services to all citizens, contributing to the growth and development of the region.
