Road safety seminar held at University Gilani Law College to raise awareness about traffic rules and importance of following laws.

A road safety seminar was recently organized at the University Gilani Law College in collaboration with the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP). The event aimed to increase public understanding of traffic regulations and their significance in preventing accidents. Speaking at the seminar, experts highlighted the critical role that adhering to traffic laws plays in ensuring road safety.

The speakers emphasized several key points regarding traffic violations. They noted that reckless driving, excessive speeding, and failure to use seat belts or helmets are common causes of accidents. Additionally, they stressed the importance of effective enforcement mechanisms by law enforcement agencies and increased public awareness campaigns on road safety.

Students attending the seminar pledged their commitment to promoting responsible behavior and enhancing road safety awareness within their communities. NHMP Sector Commander Qalb-i-Abbas was among the chief guests at the event, alongside other prominent speakers including Principal Dr Bilal from BZU Director Vehari Campus, Dr Faiz Buksh, DSA Aziz Junaid, and others.

The seminar underscored the urgent need for all road users to comply with traffic laws. By doing so, they can significantly reduce accident rates and safeguard human lives on our roads.
