Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy met on Monday to exchange views on recent regional developments and other matters of mutual interest. The Saudi ambassador highlighted key issues affecting the region during their meeting, which was held at the Foreign Office in Islamabad.

According to a statement from the Foreign Office Spokesperson, Dar expressed his appreciation for the constructive dialogue with Al-Malkiy. He emphasized Pakistan's commitment to fostering regional stability and cooperation through multilateral platforms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers.

Al-Malkiy, in turn, underscored Saudi Arabia’s support for Pakistan’s initiatives aimed at enhancing regional security and economic integration. The ambassador also briefed Dar on recent developments in the Middle East and North Africa, including ongoing conflicts and diplomatic efforts to resolve them.
