Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan emphasized on Tuesday that the 75-year diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and China is one of the most enduring partnerships in contemporary international relations, built on mutual trust, strategic cooperation, and shared commitment to regional peace and prosperity. According to PA Speaker Ahmad, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will open a new chapter of economic transformation for Pakistan.
"This partnership has already brought significant benefits to both countries," said Ahmad. "Now with CPEC, we are poised to further enhance our economic ties and drive sustainable growth across various sectors."
The PA Speaker highlighted that CPEC projects such as the Gwadar Port, Karakoram Highway expansion, and energy infrastructure developments will not only boost Pakistan's economy but also strengthen regional connectivity and trade opportunities.
