Kidana Development Company implements extensive cooling initiatives across Saudi holy sites for pilgrims' comfort during Hajj 1447 AH season.
Kidana Development Company is spearheading a significant environmental and infrastructure project to enhance the comfort of millions of pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia's holy sites during the Hajj 1447 AH season. The company, acting as the executive arm of its parent organization, has embarked on more than 25 initiatives aimed at providing cooling and shading facilities.
One of the most notable projects involves a massive 392,000-square-meter shading area. This expansive coverage ensures that pilgrims can move around comfortably without being exposed to the intense heat. Additionally, Kidana has installed over 6,000 misting poles strategically placed in key areas to provide instant relief from the scorching temperatures.
These cooling and shading measures are part of a broader effort by Saudi authorities to ensure the well-being of pilgrims during one of Islam's most significant rituals. The projects not only address immediate comfort but also contribute to sustainable development at these sacred sites.
The implementation of such extensive cooling solutions underscores the commitment to enhancing the overall experience for pilgrims, making their journey more manageable and enjoyable despite the challenging weather conditions.
