Pakistan Consulate and Pakistani community celebrated the 1st anniversary of Marka-e-Haq with great enthusiasm on May 15 in Jeddah. The event, held at the premises of the Pakistan Consulate, paid tribute to the nation's unwavering resolve, the unshakeable courage of Pak armed forces, and the determination of its people.

The ceremony began with a recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthems of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and respect among all attendees. Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani and Pakistan's permanent representative in OIC Ambassador Syed Muhammad Fawad Sher addressed the gathering, commending the Armed Forces for their professionalism and precision during Mark-e-Haq, which thwarted Indian aggression.

Speakers highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to peace and unity through diplomatic efforts. They urged the international community to support a peaceful resolution to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, in line with UN Security Council resolutions. Emphasizing that today they honor martyrs from civil and military forces while saluting their courage and sacrifices, speakers renewed their commitment to peace, stability, and regional harmony.

The victory in Marka-e-Haq has placed Pakistan on the world map as a pillar of strength and reliable partner in the region's peace and progress. Prominent Community members, including Masood Puri, Eng. Arif Mughal, and Sardar Waqas Inayat, paid tribute to the nation’s resolve and its defense forces and martyrs. They stressed that Pakistan must continue with unity and resolve for economic progress and development.

The ceremony concluded with heartfelt prayers for the nation's martyrs and for the well-being and prosperity of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
