Associated Press Of Pakistan hosted the news that the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in Islamabad has recently welcomed a high-level academic delegation from Bangladesh. The visit was led by Professor Dr. Mamum Ahmed, who serves as the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for Bangladesh.

Accompanying him were representatives from several leading Bangladeshi universities and officials from the Higher Education Commission Pakistan. The delegation's purpose included discussions on educational collaboration and mutual academic interests. During their stay at NUML, they engaged in talks with university leaders to explore potential areas of cooperation.

As a result of these productive meetings, NUML and Rajshahi University signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) aimed at fostering further academic exchanges between the two institutions. The signing ceremony took place on Friday, highlighting the growing ties between Pakistani and Bangladeshi educational sectors. This collaboration is expected to benefit both countries by enhancing knowledge sharing and advancing research initiatives in various fields of study.
