Chairperson Mushaal Hussein Mullick inaugurated the grand NHSD Cultural & Craft Festival on May 15 in Islamabad. The event was organized by Network for Human and Social Development (NHSD) and featured diverse cultural stalls representing various regions of Pakistan. A press release the festival included Kashmiri paper mache art, embroidered handicrafts, traditional clothing, food stalls, women-led startups, and products developed by emerging entrepreneurs from across the country.

The vibrant festival also provided free medical eye camps and was attended by several renowned welfare organizations. Mushaal Hussein Mullick congratulated NHSD for creating a platform that beautifully merged culture, compassion, entrepreneurship, and social welfare. She emphasized that empowering women through education, vocational opportunities, and economic independence is essential for Pakistan's future development and stability.

During her speech, Mushaal Hussein Mullick paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his leadership during Marqa e Haq and highlighted the importance of national unity, resilience, and humanitarian values in strengthening Pakistan's future. She also spoke about the ongoing humanitarian suffering in Kashmir and reiterated her appeal for the release of jailed Kashmiri leader Mohammad Yasin Malik and other political prisoners through the Awami Rabta Mohim. Addressing the ceremony, Mushaal Hussein Mullick was presented with an award in recognition of her services for women empowerment, human rights advocacy, and social welfare.

She peace, justice, cultural harmony, and social empowerment must go hand in hand to build a stronger and more compassionate Pakistan.
