Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts no rain and increasing temperatures with maximum expected at 38°C.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) issued a forecast on Friday predicting that there would be no precipitation in the city over the next 24 hours, while temperatures are set to rise significantly. According to PMD officials, the highest temperature is anticipated to reach 38 degrees Celsius with a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius. The humidity level is expected to remain at 30 percent and wind speeds will be around 5 kilometers per hour.

The Meteorological Department anticipates that heat intensity will intensify from Sunday onwards, with temperatures likely to exceed 40 degrees Celsius throughout the following week in the province. Additionally, there has been a slight improvement in the city's air quality; Lahore's average air quality index was recorded at 155, while the highest pollution index of 166 was observed in the Bedian area.

This forecast highlights the need for residents to take precautions against heat stress and ensure adequate hydration. As the weather conditions continue to deteriorate, it is crucial for individuals to stay indoors during peak hours and avoid strenuous activities outdoors.
