Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has sharply criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, calling its recent expansion of the cabinet a sign that governance in the province is at its lowest point. Tarar made these on Monday during a press conference, expressing concern over what he sees as an unnecessary increase in ministerial positions.
Tarar emphasized that the new additions to the KP cabinet will not result in any meaningful improvement for the management and development of the region. He argued that the current administration's focus should be on addressing existing issues rather than adding more layers of bureaucracy.
"This bloated cabinet is a clear indication that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government lacks effective leadership," Tarar stated, highlighting his disappointment with what he perceives as a lack of strategic vision in the province's governance. "The new ministers added will not bring about any significant changes and are merely symbolic gestures."
