The federal government has assured Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) that it will restore natural gas supply to compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in the province after recent discussions. Governor Shah Mahmood Qureshi of KP the provincial government is operating CNG stations from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, as per instructions from the federal authorities.

Federal officials have approved an additional 35 million cubic feet of natural gas (mmcfd) supply for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This move comes in response to ongoing discussions aimed at resolving issues related to energy distribution and ensuring uninterrupted fuel supplies to critical infrastructure across the region.

Punjab, meanwhile, has been directed by federal authorities to remove barriers affecting wheat and flour transportation. These directives are part of a broader effort to improve supply chain efficiency and address logistical challenges faced by various provinces in accessing essential commodities.
