He stated that the examination body had so far failed to prevent such incidents. The second paper of AS-level mathematics under Cambridge International Education (CIE) was leaked on Monday. Cambridge has also initially confirmed the paper leak and described it as unfortunate. The AS-level mathematics paper (9709/12), which was previously declared invalid after a separate leak incident, had been distributed without authorization before the examination. According to officials, affected candidates will be required to retake the paper, with a replacement examination scheduled for June 9 under the official Cambridge examination timetable. Dr Mallah emphasized that such leaks continue to be regrettable and expressed hope that the body would find ways to prevent them in the future.
