Bahawalpur authorities have taken proactive steps to ensure the peaceful observance of Muharram this year. A joint meeting was held recently, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza, involving licensed procession organizers and representatives from various religious congregations (Majalis). The primary objective of the meeting was to review and finalize arrangements for the upcoming Muharram-ul-Haram processions.

During the meeting, all stakeholders discussed potential challenges that could arise during the observance and brainstormed solutions.
