Government and international partners launch Pur Azm Pakistan, a national platform aimed at linking young people with skills training and job opportunities.

Pur Azm Pakistan, a groundbreaking initiative launched by the government in collaboration with Unicef and Generation Unlimited, was officially unveiled during an event attended by Pakistani officials. The program is designed to empower youth through skill development and provide them with access to employment opportunities.

The launch event brought together key stakeholders from both national and international organizations to underscore the importance of this platform. The initiative aims to create a robust ecosystem that not only enhances employability but also fosters entrepreneurship.

Under the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, Pur Azm Pakistan will leverage partnerships with various organizations and institutions to deliver targeted interventions. These include vocational training, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities for young individuals across different sectors. By aligning education and skill development with market needs, the program hopes to bridge the gap between academic qualifications and practical employability.

The partnership with Unicef and Generation Unlimited adds a global perspective to the initiative, ensuring that best practices from around the world are integrated into the platform's design. This collaboration aims to create a sustainable model that can be replicated in other countries facing similar challenges related to youth unemployment.

In his remarks at the launch event, the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of Pur Azm Pakistan in transforming young lives and contributing to economic growth. He emphasized the need for ongoing support from all stakeholders to ensure the program's success and impact on the nation’s future workforce.

As part of its broader objectives, Pur Azm Pakistan also plans to engage with private sector entities to secure internships and job placements for participants. The initiative seeks to create a pipeline of skilled workers ready to contribute to economic development, thereby addressing one of the most critical challenges facing Pakistan today: youth unemployment.
