The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted successful drug seizures across the country, recovering 231 kilograms of hashish and arresting two suspects.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has made significant strides in combating drug trafficking by seizing 231.2 kilograms of hashish during two separate operations in different parts of Pakistan on Tuesday. The ANF's efforts resulted in the arrest of two suspects, who are now facing legal action for their involvement in the illegal drug trade.

In one operation, ANF personnel conducted a raid in Karachi, where they recovered 150 kilograms of hashish from a suspected drug dealer’s residence. The suspect was apprehended and is currently in custody awaiting further investigation. This successful operation highlights the ANF's commitment to eradicating drug trafficking networks within the city.

In another operation, ANF agents carried out a raid in Peshawar, seizing 81.2 kilograms of hashish from a different individual involved in the illicit trade. The suspect was also arrested and is being held for questioning. These operations underscore the ANF's strategic approach to targeting drug networks across Pakistan.

The total value of the seized hashish is estimated to be more than Rs 7.3 million, indicating the significant financial impact these drugs have on the black market. The ANF’s actions not only disrupt illegal activities but also contribute to public safety and law enforcement efforts in combating drug-related crimes.

These operations reflect the ongoing commitment of the ANF to maintain a secure environment for citizens by dismantling drug trafficking networks. As part of its broader strategy, the ANF continues to work closely with local authorities and international partners to address the complex issues surrounding drug abuse and trafficking in Pakistan.
