Volvo Group’s Q1 Profit Declines, Revises North American Outlook

AB Volvo, the Swedish truck manufacturer, announced a larger-than-anticipated decrease in its first-quarter operating profit on Wednesday. The company has also adjusted its projections for the North American truck market in 2025, anticipating a downturn.

The operating profit reached 13.26 billion crowns ($1.39 billion). This figure is down from 18.16 billion crowns in the same period last year. It also falls short of the average analyst forecast of 14.82 billion, as per an LSEG poll.
