Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran has not consented to nuclear inspections or agreed to give up uranium enrichment, despite recent international pressure and military setbacks. Speaking aboard Air Force One, he emphasized that while Iran’s nuclear facilities have been set back, Tehran remains capable of restarting its program at a different location.

Trump added that he plans to discuss these developments with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an upcoming White House meeting. He reiterated that he would not permit Iran to resume its nuclear ambitions unchecked.

These comments come amid heightened tensions following joint U.S.–Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, after which the IAEA withdrew its last remaining inspectors. Iran’s stance reflects its refusal to suspend enrichment and allows more uranium activity despite international scrutiny.

Trump characterized the situation as a turning point, asserting that Iran will significantly struggle to expand its nuclear capabilities without agreeing to inspections or limiting enrichment.
