Pakistani Delegation Engages in Experience Exchange Program in UAE

DUBAI: A prominent Pakistani government delegation, spearheaded by Minister of State for Finance and Railways, Bilal Azhar Kayani, who also leads the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit, is in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The purpose of the visit is to participate in a two-day extensive experience exchange initiative with diverse UAE ministries and authorities.

Alongside the program, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, conducted an important meeting with Abdulla Nasser Lootah, the Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Experience Exchange.

According to a statement released by the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Ambassador Tirmizi expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership for their hospitality and the chance to participate in constructive discussions.

Deputy Minister Lootah confirmed the UAE’s dedication to close collaboration with Pakistan, especially in areas of governance, public sector competitiveness, and innovation. He underscored the significance of collaborative learning to develop solutions beneficial for both nations.

The program, scheduled for July 8 and 9, is designed to provide the Pakistani delegation with insights into the UAE’s advanced governance and public service frameworks, with a focus on Dubai’s renowned system.

Ambassador Tirmizi also noted Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s keen interest in adopting aspects of the UAE’s tax automation system to enhance tax collection in Pakistan.
