Pakistan and Azerbaijan Discuss Trade and Economic Cooperation

Pakistan and Azerbaijan engaged in discussions on Wednesday regarding the execution of a trade and economic blueprint. Both nations emphasized the significance of strengthening connections between individuals and businesses as a cornerstone for enduring collaboration, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Commerce.

This development occurred during a meeting between Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Commerce, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan at the Coordinator’s Office in Kohsar Block.

The ministry’s statement elaborated, “The meeting centered on the implementation of the trade and economic strategy. Both parties highlighted the necessity of enhancing ties between people and businesses as a basis for sustained cooperation.”

Details from the meeting revealed a focus on the importance of attracting and protecting investments from the private sector, with the understanding that this type of investment represents the most viable route to economic advancement.

“Potential opportunities within the aviation industry were also explored, aiming to promote future partnerships.”

Representatives from Kitchen Cuisine were present, which indicates increasing interest from Pakistan’s private sector in pursuing international business ventures and investment prospects.

“The meeting ended with a shared commitment to reinforce economic connections, expand bilateral cooperation, and create additional pathways for mutually advantageous investment,” the ministry stated.
