Inzamam Advocates for Cricket Diplomacy Between Pakistan and India
Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq voiced his support on Wednesday for the highly anticipated Pakistan-India match in the upcoming Asia Cup. He emphasized that these encounters are not only thrilling for fans but also foster improved relations between the two nations.
Speaking to reporters at a local Karachi event, Inzamam firmly stated that both countries should regularly compete against each other in cricket.
“High-stakes matches between these major rivals are always well-received,” he noted.
The former skipper welcomed the prospect of a Pakistan-India contest in the Asia Cup, underscoring that consistent cricket engagements could pave the way for dialogue and greater understanding.
“Sustained cricketing connections have the potential to enhance relations and promote dialogue between the two nations,” Inzamam added.
