A fresh weather system is expected to enter the northern regions of Pakistan tomorrow, bringing widespread rain and snowfall, according to the Meteorological Department.
Weather Forecast and Affected Areas
From February 19 to 21, intermittent rain is expected in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. Additionally, snowfall is likely in higher altitudes, leading to colder conditions in these areas.
In Balochistan, some regions may experience rainfall and snowfall over the mountains today and tomorrow, as the system gradually moves across the country.
Meanwhile, most parts of Sindh will remain dry during this period. However, coastal areas may experience strong winds, impacting local conditions.
Precautionary Measures
Authorities advise residents in affected regions, particularly in mountainous areas, to remain cautious due to the risk of landslides and travel disruptions. Travelers heading to snow-prone regions should prepare for possible road closures and reduced visibility.
