Triple H Acknowledges Vince McMahon’s Influence During Hall of Fame Induction

LAS VEGAS: Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, the former WWE icon and current Chief Content Officer (CCO), was officially welcomed into the Hall of Fame on Friday.

Shawn Michaels, his former DX teammate, presented the 14-time WWE champion for induction into the esteemed group.

Visibly moved, Triple H shared, “The more I considered this, the more I realised it’s about those who paved the way for me.”

He expressed gratitude to his parents, his wife Stephanie McMahon, fellow wrestlers including Steve Austin and Batista, and even actor Arnold Schwarzenegger for their support throughout his illustrious career.

The most impactful moment occurred when he spoke about Vince McMahon, the former WWE chairman, expressing his appreciation for bringing him to WWE.

“There’s one aspect I’ve avoided addressing all night, but I must acknowledge it—Vince,” he stated.

He further commented, “It’s a complex narrative and bond, but in many ways, my presence here is due to him.”

Triple H gave credit to McMahon for his guidance, stating, “He recognised my creative potential, invited me to production meetings, and motivated me to continue learning.”

McMahon’s tenure as WWE CEO concluded in 2022 amid claims of misconduct, and he later resigned from TKO in 2024; he remains a divisive personality.

The induction celebrated Triple H’s achievements as a 14-time world champion and a significant figure in WWE’s creative direction.

The ceremony served as a prelude to WrestleMania 41, a two-night event scheduled for April 19th and 20th, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium.
