Pakistan’s Expo 2025 Theme Inspired by Pink Rock Salt

OSAKA (Japan): Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, informed media representatives at Expo 2025 in Osaka that the Pakistan pavilion’s central theme draws inspiration from the unique Pink Rock Salt, a natural treasure exclusively found in Pakistan’s Salt Range.

During the press briefing, he articulated Pakistan’s vision for its participation in the World Expo 2025, Osaka, highlighting the nation’s ambitions for sustainable development, cultural integration, and promising economic opportunities. The briefing was attended by members of both the Japanese press and international media outlets.

While sharing perspectives on the broader goals for participation, Mr. Kamal emphasized Pakistan’s need to engage in global events such as Expo 2025 Osaka, where international collaboration occurs to share ideas and find solutions to shared problems. The minister underscored the pavilion’s utilization of pink rock salt—a celebrated natural resource of Pakistan—as a symbolic element. He added, “Salt, with its inherent purity and strength, symbolizes our enduring bond with the planet. Through this symbol, we are sharing a vision of sustainability and advancements rooted in nature with the global community.”
