PSL 10’s Remaining Matches Relocated to UAE
LAHORE: Citing prevailing regional circumstances, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has declared its decision to relocate the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In a concise announcement, the cricket governing body verified that the eight outstanding games of the premier league, including the playoffs and final, are to be held in the UAE. Specifics concerning the schedule and venues will be communicated in due time.
“The PCB confirms that the remaining fixtures of the HBL PSL X have been shifted to the UAE,” the board stated officially.
“The detailed match schedule, specifying dates and locations, will be announced shortly,” the statement further noted.
Previously, the PSL 10 fixture between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings, which was scheduled for Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, faced postponement. This action was implemented as a safety precaution given the current environment, emphasizing the well-being of all individuals involved.
Those holding tickets for the affected match are guaranteed refunds. VIP Gallery and enclosure ticket holders can claim their refunds at designated TCS Express Centres. Online ticket purchasers will receive automated refunds to their original payment accounts.
With the PSL 10 nearing its conclusion, only four preliminary matches and four playoff games remain.
Quetta Gladiators have already secured their spot in the playoffs, topping the leaderboard with six victories, two defeats, and one no-result across nine games.
Karachi Kings follow in second place with 10 points, from five wins and three losses in eight games. Current titleholders Islamabad United are third, also with 10 points, having won five and lost four of their nine matches.
Lahore Qalandars hold fourth position with nine points, achieving four wins, four losses, and one no-result. Peshawar Zalmi stand fifth with eight points, resulting from four wins in nine games.
