Lahore Qalandars Earn USD 500,000 for PSL 10 Victory

Lahore Qalandars triumphed in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 final, securing their third championship and a substantial prize of USD 500,000 (exceeding PKR 140 million).

In an electrifying final held in Lahore on Sunday, the Qalandars defeated the Quetta Gladiators by six wickets, concluding a memorable season with another title.

The victory saw Lahore not only claim the PSL trophy for the third time but also the lucrative cash prize, while the Gladiators, as runners-up, received USD 200,000 (approximately PKR 56 million).

Gladiators’ middle-order batsman Hasan Nawaz was recognized as Player of the Tournament during the PSL 10 awards ceremony following the final.

In addition to the top accolade, the young batter was also named Best Batter of the Tournament for his consistent and dynamic performances.

Islamabad United’s opening batsman, Sahibzada Farhan, was awarded the Hanif Mohammad Cap for being the tournament’s highest run-scorer.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, leading the Qalandars to their third title, received the Fazal Mahmood Cap for taking the most wickets in the competition.

Gladiators’ all-rounder Faheem Ashraf secured the Best All-Rounder award for his valuable contributions with both batting and bowling.

Qalandars’ emerging talent, Mohammad Naeem, was celebrated as the Emerging Player of the Tournament.

Peshawar Zalmi’s wicketkeeper-batsman, Mohammad Haris, was acknowledged as the Best Wicketkeeper of the Tournament.

Abdul Samad of Zalmi received the Best Fielder of the Tournament award for his nine catches in only five matches.

Sri Lanka’s Kusal Perera was named Player of the Final for his match-winning contribution in the title decider.

Peshawar Zalmi also received the Spirit of Cricket Award in recognition of their exemplary sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
