The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 10% increase in online ticket prices for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, attributing the hike to unprecedented fan enthusiasm.
Initially, 30% of the tickets were released online, which fans eagerly purchased, leading to sold-out matches such as Pakistan vs. New Zealand, Australia vs. England, and Pakistan vs. Bangladesh. In response to this high demand, the PCB has decided to adjust the pricing structure accordingly.
The second phase of ticket sales is scheduled to begin on February 3, with over 100 physical tickets becoming available at TCS Express Centers. PCB officials have expressed satisfaction with the public’s response and are working to accommodate as many spectators as possible.
This price adjustment reflects the immense popularity of cricket in Pakistan and the significant interest in the ICC Champions Trophy. Fans are advised to purchase their tickets promptly to secure their seats for the much-anticipated matches.
