Patriots Secure Victory Over Royals in CPL Clash

BASSETERRE: St Kitts and Nevis Patriots defeated Barbados Royals by 12 runs in a thrilling Caribbean Premier League (CPL) match held in Basseterre on Thursday. The win was propelled by impressive bowling from Naseem Shah, Abbas Afridi, and Jason Holder.

After losing the toss and being put in to bat, the Patriots managed to score a total of 174/8 in their allotted 20 overs.

  • Kyle Mayers set the tone with a rapid 42 off 28 deliveries, which included three sixes and four fours.
  • Captain Jason Holder contributed a quickfire 38 from just 21 balls, hitting two sixes and four fours.
