Pakistan Cricket Team Arrives in Florida for West Indies Series
The Pakistan cricket team has landed in Lauderhill, Florida, in preparation for their upcoming series against the West Indies next month. The squad traveled in two groups via Dubai.
The second contingent, which included Mohammad Haris, Hussain Talat, Hasan Nawaz, Sahibzada Farhan, and the coaching staff, recently arrived in the United States to join the rest of the team.
The initial group, consisting of T20I captain Agha Salman, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz, Abrar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, and Faheem Ashraf, had previously departed for Lauderhill on Friday.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Daniyal, Salman Mirza, and Abbas Afridi, who were not selected for the squad, have returned to Pakistan from Dhaka.
The tour commences with a three-match T20I series against the West Indies, scheduled for July 31, August 2, and August 3 at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, USA. Agha Salman will captain the T20I team, which welcomes back key fast bowlers Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Following the T20Is, both sides will participate in a three-match ODI series at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago on August 8, 10, and 12. Mohammad Rizwan will lead the 16-member ODI squad, which includes Hasan Nawaz, an uncapped player.
Experienced players Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi have been recalled to bolster the lineup for the 50-over format.
