The under-18 men’s hockey team from Pakistan achieved a commanding triumph in the Men’s U18 Asia Cup 2025. They triumphed over Sri Lanka with a score of 9-0 in their second Group A match, held at the Dazhou National Hockey Training Centre.

Pakistan quickly took control, managing to score four goals during the initial quarter. Abdullah Awan initiated the scoring in the 4th minute with a field goal, which was rapidly followed by another from Zubair Latif in the fifth minute. The team’s arrival in China was delayed until just hours before the match due to visa complications, leaving them without time for practice or a warm-up match. Despite these obstacles, they presented a compelling performance, overwhelming their competitors.
