Commentary Panel Unveiled for Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I Series

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the commentary lineup for the upcoming three-match T20I series featuring Pakistan and Bangladesh. The series is slated to commence on May 28 in Lahore.

The commentary team consists of five members, including former Test captains Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja, along with Test cricketer Bazid Khan, former Bangladesh international Athar Ali Khan, and seasoned cricket analyst Mike Haysman.

Zainab Abbas will be the series presenter.

The series begins this Wednesday, incorporating one-day breaks between each match, and is scheduled to conclude on June 1.

This series marks Pakistan’s initial international engagement with Mike Hesson as the newly appointed head coach for white-ball cricket.

Originally, the Bangladesh team was expected to arrive in Pakistan in two groups on May 21 for an extended five-match T20I series, with the opening match set for May 25 in Faisalabad. However, the series was shortened to three matches, all to be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, due to logistical complications and evolving security conditions.

Historically, Pakistan holds a significant advantage over Bangladesh in T20Is, having won 16 out of 19 matches, whereas Bangladesh has only achieved three victories.
