Judge Achieves Milestone in 1,088th Game
NEW YORK: Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees has become the quickest player to reach 350 career home runs, accomplishing this feat in significantly fewer games—192 less—than Mark McGwire.
During Saturday’s game, Judge blasted a homer into right-center field off a pitch delivered by Brad Keller of the Chicago Cubs in the ninth inning. This marked his 35th home run this season; however, the Yankees were defeated by the Cubs with a score of 5-2 in the Bronx.
Yankees skipper Aaron Boone lauded Judge, commenting on his exceptional performance.

Playing his 1,088th game, Judge reached this milestone far more rapidly than McGwire, who hit his 350th in his 1,280th game against Brian Moehler of Detroit on June 2, 1997.
Judge shared his thoughts on the achievement, recognizing McGwire as a legend. He expressed his hope that the team could have secured a victory.

“It would have been great if we could have won today. I am thankful for the great teammates and supportive teams that have enabled me to perform at my very best.”
Judge’s MLB journey began with the Yankees in 2016 at 24 years old, whereas McGwire concluded his career in 2001 at 38 years of age, having totaled 583 homers, currently ranking 11th on the all-time list.
McGwire admitted to using performance-enhancing substances in 2010, which has impacted his eligibility for baseball’s Hall of Fame.
