Latest T20I Rankings: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi See Dip

Pakistan’s clean sweep in the T20I series against Bangladesh has brought about shifts in the ICC T20I rankings, with several Pakistani players experiencing notable changes.

Significant Gains

Mohammad Haris has made substantial progress, ascending 210 spots to secure 30th position in the batting rankings with a rating of 580. His impressive performance included the second-fastest T20I century by a Pakistani batter in the series’ final match.

Hasan Nawaz, a middle-order batsman, also climbed 57 places to reach 45th position with 540 points, owing to his valuable contributions throughout the series.

Saim Ayub, the returning young talent, moved up four places to 61st with 485 points after a strong showing in the third T20I.

Agha Salman, who scored 90 runs in the series, jumped 42 places to 75th with 430 points.

Rankings Decline

On the other hand, seasoned batsmen Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman witnessed a decrease in their rankings.

Fakhar Zaman fell 10 places to 87th with 406 points. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan both slipped three positions, now holding the 12th and 13th spots, respectively.

Top Rankings

Australia’s Travis Head remains the top-ranked batter, followed by India’s Abhishek Sharma in second place and England’s Phil Salt in third.

Bowling Rankings

Abbas Afridi’s bowling performance propelled him 18 places up to 19th with 605 points.

Vice-captain Shadab Khan advanced 24 places to 59th, tying with Abrar Ahmed, who jumped 45 places.

Naseem Shah, Sufiyan Muqeem, Haris Rauf, and Shaheen Afridi experienced a decline in their bowling rankings, landing them at 94th, 83rd, 19th, and 36th, respectively.

New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy is currently the leading bowler, trailed by West Indies’ Akeal Hosein and India’s Varun Chakaravarthy.
