Hasan Ali Views Pakistan Team Return as ‘Dream Come True’
Lahore: Fast bowler Hasan Ali conveyed his strong ambition to contribute to Pakistan’s triumph in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026. He emphasized that each match represents a chance to validate his capabilities following a challenging period of injury and recovery.
During a conversation on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s podcast, Hasan discussed his journey back to the national team and the emotional significance of regaining his form.
“If you were to ask me, my aspiration is to represent Pakistan in the World Cup and secure victory for my nation. I view every match as an opportunity, and I am committed to giving my utmost,” he stated.
The 30-year-old player marked his return on Wednesday in the initial T20I against Bangladesh at Gaddafi Stadium, securing a five-wicket haul. He is now the fourth Pakistani bowler to accomplish this achievement in T20Is.
Hasan underscored that while a player’s level of performance may fluctuate, consistent dedication is essential.
“Performance levels can vary, but your dedication on the field should remain evident. Ultimately, I want to leave the field knowing that I have given my all,” he added.
Reflecting on his injury and subsequent rehabilitation, Hasan noted the challenges involved in his recovery.
“Recovering from an injury is always difficult, bringing unique pressures. I am thankful and proud to have regained my fitness. It required considerable effort, and I am now witnessing the outcomes,” Hasan commented.
He described his return to the Pakistan team as a realization of a dream and reaffirmed his commitment to performing at the highest level.
