Shoriful Islam Achieves Milestone with 50th T20I Wicket
LAHORE: During Wednesday’s inaugural T20I match against Pakistan at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, Bangladeshi pace bowler Shoriful Islam accomplished a noteworthy personal record.
The 23-year-old bowler dismissed Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman for a mere single run, securing his 50th wicket in the T20 international arena.
This achievement positions Shoriful as the fourth Bangladeshi to have taken 50 or more wickets in T20I matches, placing him among prominent players such as former captain Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, and Taskin Ahmed.
