Asia Cup 2025 Trophy Unveiled at Ceremony Attended by ACC President

DUBAI: The trophy for the Asia Cup 2025 was revealed in Dubai this Tuesday, with Mohsin Naqvi, the president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), present.

The captains representing all participating nations, namely Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Hong Kong, and Oman, attended the event and posed with the trophy for photos.

During the proceedings, the ACC president extended greetings and shook hands with each of the team captains.

Following the unveiling, the players engaged with the media, responding to inquiries and articulating their resolve to put forth impressive displays in the approaching tournament.

Notably, the 15th edition of the men’s Asia Cup will be contested in the T20I format, featuring eight teams—Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Oman, UAE, and Hong Kong—divided into two groups.

India finds itself in Group A alongside Oman, Pakistan, and the hosting nation, UAE.

Their campaign is set to commence against UAE on September 10 in Dubai, followed by a match against Pakistan on September 14 at the same venue, and concluding the group stage against Oman on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.

Group B consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage, with the leading two from that stage competing in the final on September 28.
