SALT LAKE CITY: In Monday’s NBA preseason game at the Delta Center, Anthony Davis delivered an impressive all-around effort, helping the Dallas Mavericks secure a convincing 114-101 victory against the Utah Jazz.

The Mavericks’ preseason record improves to 2-1 with this victory, while the Jazz drop to 0-3.

Davis led the Mavericks’ attack, amassing 25 points and grabbing six rebounds in just 25 minutes on the court.

Cooper Flagg also left a significant impression coming off the bench, adding 11 points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes of play.

Dallas demonstrated excellent offensive balance, outscoring Utah in every quarter with the exception of the fourth.

The Mavericks started strong, scoring 30 points in the first quarter, followed by 31 and 28 in the subsequent two quarters.

Despite a late surge by the Jazz, who managed 29 points in the final quarter, Dallas maintained a firm grip on the game’s outcome.

Jaden Hardy contributed 13 points and six rebounds, while Ryan Nembhard added six points in 26 minutes of play.

For Utah, Naji Marshall was the top scorer with 17 points. Miles Kelly and Jaden Hardy (Jazz) added 14 and 13 points, respectively, while P.J. Washington and Klay Thompson scored six and five points each.

However, the Jazz struggled to limit Dallas’s offensive flow and depth throughout the contest.

With this victory, the Mavericks continue to gain momentum as they approach the regular season, while the Jazz will aim to regroup following another challenging performance.
