Pakistan Shaheens Observe Australia vs. South Africa T20I Ahead of Top End Series
DARWIN: Several members of the Pakistan Shaheens squad were present at Marrara Stadium on Tuesday to witness the high-scoring second T20I match between Australia and South Africa.
Information indicates that Northern Territory (NT) Cricket extended an invitation to three Pakistan Shaheens players, namely Khawaja Nafay and Ubaid Shah, along with members of the support staff, to attend the recently concluded game.
The Shaheens team is in Darwin to compete in the Top End T20 Series, which is slated to occur from August 14 to August 24.
The team will commence their campaign against Bangladesh ‘A’ on the opening day of the multi-nation series, with a training camp scheduled at TIO Stadium on Wednesday.
Following the start of their campaign, the Shaheens are scheduled to play against Scorchers on August 16 and Renegades on August 18, both matches taking place at TIO Stadium.
Subsequently, they will compete against Kingsmen on August 19, Strikers on August 21, and Nepal on August 22 at the DXC Arena. The semi-finals and final matches are scheduled for August 24.
