Afghanistan and Hong Kong’s T20I Record

Their most recent encounter occurred during the 2016 T20 World Cup, where Afghanistan showcased superior performance against Hong Kong in a match characterized by modest scoring.
Hong Kong, batting first, managed to score 116 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Ryan Campbell scored 27 runs from 24 balls, and Anshy Rath remained not out with 28 runs from 31 deliveries. However, other batters struggled to contribute significantly.
In response, Afghanistan successfully reached the target in 18 overs, losing four wickets in the process. Mohammad Shahzad led the scoring with 41 runs, Noor Ali Zadran contributed 35, and Mohammad Nabi and Najibullah Zadran added 17 runs each.
