United Brands Limited Appoints New CEO

United Brands Limited (UBDL) made public on Tuesday the selection of Zubair Razzak Palwala as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The company communicated this update in a formal notification issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) earlier today.

According to the statement, this appointment follows the departure of Syed Nadeem Ahmed, who previously held the CEO position.

UBDL’s origins trace back to 1965 in Pakistan, initially established as Batlay Match Industries Limited.

The company underwent a rebranding initiative, becoming UDL Industries Limited in 1987, and subsequently adopting the name United Brands Limited in 2006.

The corporation’s primary activities involve the commerce and distribution of consumer packaged goods and associated offerings.
